According to the latest update of the Clarivate Analytics ESI database, 13 faculty members of IUST are included in the “Top 1 % of researchers in the world” list in the fields of engineering, chemistry, mathematics and computer sciences. ([iust.ac.ir][1])
The ESI database identifies the top 1 % of authors in each of 22 subject areas based on the total citations received over a ten-year period. ([iust.ac.ir][1])
The latest update, as of September 2025, shows that in addition to the 13 faculty in the top 1 % list, two other faculty members are listed in the “Top 1 % Researchers” category in two thematic domains. ([iust.ac.ir][1])
