Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Homayounpour is a professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) in Tehran, Iran. He is also the founder and head of the Laboratory for Intelligent Multimedia Processing (LIMP), previously known as the Laboratory for Intelligent Sound and Speech Processing (LISSP), established in 1996.
