Dr. Mahmood Fathy is an Emeritus Professor of Computer Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology, where he has been a faculty member since 1991 .He holds a Ph.D. in Image Processing and Processor Design from the University of Manchester (formerly UMIST), an M.Sc. in Microprocessor Engineering from the University of Bradford, and a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. His research interests encompass computer architecture, digital systems design, embedded systems, and image processing . Dr. Fathy has authored numerous publications and contributed significantly to advancements in these fields.
