Who We Are?
The International University of Wisdom and Technology (IUWT) is located in Qom, Iran, and operates as a branch campus of the Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Tehran. According to the 2024 QS World University Rankings, IUST holds the 451st position globally. Its School of Computer Engineering has consistently been ranked among the top five computer engineering faculties in Iran in recent years.
IUWT currently offers three specialized undergraduate programs:
- Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)
- Computer Engineering (Information Technology)
- Software Engineering (Data Analytics)
These programs are designed with a strong emphasis on research, analytical reasoning, and creative problem-solving. Students are actively engaged in real-world research, applied projects, and contemporary problem-solving processes. The university adopts modern and internationally recognized educational methods such as Flipped Classroom, Project-Based Learning (PBL), and Learning by Doing, fostering a dynamic, interactive, and experience-based learning environment. This approach equips students to participate effectively in the global scientific and technological landscape and to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of computer engineering in both academic and industrial contexts.
In addition to technical and professional education, students are introduced to the philosophical and ethical foundations of their disciplines. This integrated and interdisciplinary framework nurtures a holistic worldview that harmonizes technological progress with moral integrity, human values, and the principles of justice and transparency—core tenets that guide the university’s educational and research mission.
